Why are macs so much more expensive then...?
i dont see why macbook pros are so much more then hp laptops
Differences:
Mac has a alloy hard case
HP has a extremely durable hard plastic shell
However does this justify the price?
Mac Book pros 15" start out at $1699 on apples website and goes way up from their
a similar spec HP laptop sells for $800
So my question is....why does mac have to be double the price of the hp if the quality and the components are the same?
My theory is you are just paying more to have apples name then anything else because that alloy unibody does not cost an extra $900 =/
Apple has a monopoly on building Mac computers, therefore there is no competition to drive prices down. They can charge whatever they want
It doesn't justify the price. There is literally no reason to choose a Mac over a PC which will give you much better performance for the price. Macs might look a bit cooler on the surface, but that's where it ends
